Base Tier Application
Companies can apply for the EEG Base tier through the Business Grants Portal (BGP). A

Before You Apply
Important Procurement Rules

Do Not Commence Procurement Before Applying
Companies may not be eligible for the grant if they have commenced procurement of the
equipment at the point of grant application. The application may be rejected if any of the following have taken
place before the application date:
- Companies have made payment to a third-party who is part of the application
- Companies have signed contractual agreement(s) with a third party who is part of the
application

5★TICKS
Multi-Split & Single-Split Models
Minimum 5 NEA ticks required. Note: From 1 April 2025, MEPS raised to 5-tick for multi-split and 4-tick for
single-split models.
3★TICKS
3-Phase VRF Models
Minimum 3 NEA ticks required for 3-phase Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) models — suited for larger
commercial premises.

Prepare DocumentsACRA business profile, financial statements,
quotations & other required documents.

Submit via GoBusinessSubmit your application through the GoBusiness
portal with all documents uploaded.

Await Approval & InstallUpon approval, proceed with installation of
your new energy-efficient aircon.

Claim Your GrantSubmit proof of installation (invoices, photos) and
receive your grant disbursement.
